Whiplash claims down

Whiplash claims have fallen for the fourth year in a row, according to data obtained by APIL through a freedom of information request.

The Government's Compensation Recovery Unit (CRU) has revealed that the number of whiplash claims has fallen by eight per cent on 2013/14 to 376,513. In the four years since they reached their peak in 2010/11, whiplash claims have fallen by almost 200,000 - more than a third.
