Jade joined Garratts in 2016 as secretary in the Wills and Probate department, having worked for 2 years in the same role at a different firm of solicitors.
Jade was secretary for Angela Smith in the Oldham office, and soon came to realise she was very lucky as she is a great boss. It was a small department of 4 women and was a lovely close-knit team.
Jade developed her skills in this role, leading her into a more paralegal role. Then at the end of 2022 she started sitting in on client appointments with Angela with a view to gaining more experience in order to take on a fee earning role.
In January 2023, Jade took the plunge and started fee earning and building up her own caseload alone. Jade is now based at the Radcliffe office and has her own secretarial support in Georgina and they make a great little team!
