An opportunity has arisen in our General Litigation department for a full-time fee earner at our Oldham office. The department deals with various types of disputes including but not limited to contractual disputes, employment matters, settlement agreements, TOLATA cases, neighbour/boundary disputes, will/inheritance disputes etc. The ideal candidate will have some experience of being involved in litigation work (whether on an assistant basis or in running their own files). The position would suit a Paralegal/Newly qualified fee earner. There is a real opportunity for the right candidate to continue to expand what is already a very successful department.
Find out moreWe are looking for a full time solicitor to be on our Tameside duty rota and to work in the Greater Manchester area. The role will involve all aspects of criminal defence work from the Police Station through to the Court. Your main responsibilities will include representing clients at the police station (including being part of the out-of-hours rota), conducting advocacy in the Magistrates Court and being responsible for your own caseload. The candidate should have excellent communication and advocacy skills. The candidate should also have good IT skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and be able to cope under pressure.
