Garratts in the Community

As part of our commitment to serve the local community through our branch offices within Greater Manchester, we at Garratts participate in a variety of fundraising activities for charities, whether it’s a cake sale or coffee morning for MacMillan Nurses or the Alzheimer’s Society, to running in the Colour Blast event for Dr. Kershaw’s or even holding a charity night.

We are proud to be able to make a positive contribution to the community.

Our inspiration comes from the personal experiences of our staff, their families and friends and we are always open to suggestions from clients whether it’s a charity they would like to recommend or if they would like to make a donation to our charity fund.

In the past our resourceful employees have knitted “twiddlemuffs” to help people with dementia, baked cakes to raise money for cancer charities, worn Christmas jumpers for Save the Children, donated raffle prizes to local special schools for their fundraisers, collected toys for the Key103 Cash for Kids campaign and food items for the Hits Radio's Food Bank Appeal using our branch offices as a collection points.

We hold regular charity nights where we make donations to our nominated charities and invite their representatives to attend to give our staff and their families a taste of what they do as well as having a chance for all of us to socialise together.
