We are pleased to announce a significant success story from the Court of Appeal, achieved by the Care Team.
The firm acted for a Mother of three Children who are in foster care. The mother did not agree with the Local Authority plans for the two youngest Children to be adopted. Unfortunately, at a Final Hearing a local Judge made Care and Placement Orders, meaning that the Local Authority could indeed place the children for adoption.
The decision was successfully appealed by the Care Team, and the Court of Appeal, at a hearing on 27 August 2014, ordered that the case was to be reheard in Manchester.
Our Client is extremely grateful for another opportunity to put forward her case and persuade the Court that her two younger Children should be returned to her care.
