Following the successful expansion of our General Litigation team into Residential Landlord and Tenant matters in early 2015, we are pleased to confirm that we are now able to offer these services to our Commercial Landlord and Tenant Clients following a further expansion by the Firm into Commercial Property work.
Over the last 12 months whilst the focus of the expansion has related to Residential Landlord and Tenant matters, there have been a number of instructions received by the Firm relating to matters of a Business/Commercial nature.
In particular, the Firm has been able to offer services in relation to some highly specialised Commercial matters such as converting a school into an Academy. This is a fairly new area of work and at Garratts we are pleased to confirm that we have the necessary expertise to provide such a highly technical and specialised service as well as the more standard types of Commercial matters such as drafting and advising both Landlords and Tenants upon Residential and Commercial Leases, service of the statutory notices under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, advising in relation to alleged breaches of covenants and issues and termination of such Tenancies such as forfeiture proceedings.
