The victim, who was on holiday in Majorca, began to feel unwell at the end of his holiday and suffered severe abdominal pain, diarrhoea, fever and vomiting.

On his return to the UK, test results confirmed that he had cryptosporidium and following liaison with Public Health England  the claimant instructed Garratts to recover compensation.
