The damage caused 

The Dermatologist used a purple marker pen to highlight areas where treatment was required which, combined with the use of the acid, resulted in a tattooing effect which, notwithstanding further treatment with the use of the said curettage and microdermabrasion resulted in significant facial scarring.

In addition to the significant negative cosmetic issues the Client also suffered pain and suffering as a consequence of the treatments given in attempts to rectify or reduce the appearance of the face disfigurement and the scarring that resulted.

Compensation for injury caused by Clinical Negligence 

The scarring and facial disfigurement were eventually significantly reduced and the Client received a sum of £11,000.00 compensation plus payment of her costs in full.
