Hospital Negligence Victory for Mr B - £14,500

Hospital Negligence Victory for Mr B - £14,500

During this time Mr B had significant bladder issues in that he needed to use the toilet very frequently and urgently and when he went to pass urine, he often could not do so. In addition, Mr B had to have a further, more invasive procedure to remove the stent which was severely damaged at the time of removal.

Fortunately Mr B did not have any long-term problems once the stent was removed. He did, however, suffer unnecessarily for a period of 13 months in addition to having to undergo more invasive treatment.

Garratts obtained supportive expert evidence from a Consultant Urologist who confirmed the breach of duty of care.

Compensation was awarded to Mr B in the sum of £14,500.
