Our client attended a dental practice in Manchester recently to undergo what should have been straightforward treatment (a filling). After the treatment had concluded and the numbness of the injection had worn off, our client began to experience significant pain. Her tongue was swollen, and her mouth began blistering. It transpired that a Nurse had mistakenly used an incorrect dilutant/cleaner, rather than water, in the spray/tool (Dimethyldioctylammonium Chloride).
We are now investigating the matter to ensure our client is appropriately compensated for the above error.
