£25,000 Payout Following Collision at a Skate Park

The Claimant instructed Garratts Solicitors following an accident at a “mega ramp” at a specialist indoor BMX skate park in Salford, Greater Manchester.

The skate park allowed a child to slide across the ramp on his back, and as the Claimant descended from the high ramp on his BMX bike, he collided with the child, putting his left leg out to break his fall and in doing so sustained an ACL tear and meniscal tear to his left knee.

The Claimant under Arthroscopy to his knee and had ACL reconstruction surgery.

With the support of Garratts personal injury team, the claimant received a final compensation payout of £25,000.
