I work exclusively in private family law and have experience in dealing with a wide variety of matters including applications regarding children, injunctions, divorce and financial matters. I handle cases of varying complexity which often include sensitive issues such as domestic abuse or coercive and controlling behaviour.
I pride myself in my ability to adapt to the demands of a case and strive to achieve the best possible outcome for all my clients. I appreciate that I become involved in clients lives when they are going through a highly stressful and emotional time and do my utmost to try and guide them though proceedings as transparently as possible.
I adopt a friendly but pragmatic approach to cases to ensure that my clients are provided with the best possible service. I place great importance on building and maintaining a good working relationship with my clients during what is a highly concerning time for them.
I undertake my own advocacy and have experience representing clients at court hearings both in person and remotely. I also have a good relationship with barrister’s chambers and will utilise the services of Counsel when I feel it is in the client’s best interest to do so.
Whilst I am based at our Oldham office, I meet with clients at whichever of our six offices is easiest for them to attend. I also have appointments with clients over the phone or via video conference should the same be more convenient with them.
Away from work I enjoy socialising with friends and going to music concerts.
