Meet Our Dedicated Team of Experienced Solicitors
Fiza joined Garratts Solicitors in 2023 while completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law. Her academic journey in law began at Oldham Sixth Form College and continued at the University of Salford, where she completed her law degree. In 2024, Fiza successfully completed the Professional Skills Course (PSC) at the University of Law, enhancing her practical legal training and client care skills.
Fiza started as a Legal Assistant in the care department before being offered a training contract. She is now in the second year of her training and is due to qualify as a solicitor in July 2025.
Fiza specialises in Family Public Law, working closely with fee earners on a wide range of care matters. She is instructed when social services are involved with families and are considering initiating court proceedings. Fiza supports clients through the Pre-Proceedings Public Law Outline process, Care Proceedings and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) matters. She strives to provide clear, compassionate advice during what is often a difficult and emotional time for families.
Outside of work, Fiza enjoys spending time with her family.
