Fran is a Partner and runs the care department. She is an accredited member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Children Panel.
People usually contact Fran when Social Services have become involved with their family. Attending meetings with Social Workers and other professionals can be a daunting experience, and Fran supports and advises her clients at Child Protection Conferences and Public Law Outline (PLO) Meetings. She has a good working relationship with all the agencies involved in this process.
Fran represents clients at Court if Social Services decide to issue care proceedings and take children into care. She is with her clients every step of the way throughout the proceedings, which can be a traumatic and distressing experience for them. She offers honest and practical advice about the options available.
Fran is an experienced advocate with a down-to-earth and compassionate approach.
When she is not working, Fran loves spending time with her family, going to the cinema and gym. She is also involved with charity fundraising.
