I am a Partner and Head of the Criminal Department. With over 20 years of expertise representing clients at both the Police Station and Court, my aim is to give my clients the strongest defence from start to finish.

I represent clients faced with all types of criminal offences such as murder, sexual offences, assaults, fraud, public order and motoring offences. I take the view that any offence that my client faces, whether minor or major, is just as important to me as it is to them. I advise my clients on the evidence against them, the strength of their defence and the best possible outcome for their case. I take great pride in my work and am able to quickly build a good professional rapport with my clients.

Being available 24 hours a day to attend the police station shows the importance I attach to helping my clients. I believe that advising at the police station is the most crucial phase of a case as it can make or break it. Therefore I quickly analyse evidence from police disclosure and advise my clients on the merits of their case and present the best options to deal with the police interview. I enjoy advocacy at Court and I ensure that I put forward a strong defence/mitigation on behalf of my clients.

I also specialise in Taxi Law. I represent Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Taxi drivers at local authority committee hearings. I have successfully won appeals at both the Magistrates and Crown Courts where taxi licenses have been revoked.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and have back-packed across the Far East and Middle East. I enjoy walking, playing football and eating out.
